Hello hello, it is I, Sophie! I've got more hot takes for you guys today (or tonight rather, seeing how it is late for me at the moment)! (and by hot takes, i mean announcements)

Roleplay? Roleplay.

It's been a long ride, but Roleplay is almost back! There's just a very small few things that the admins and I need to get ironed out and then... it's go time. But, while we're still finishing up everything, there's a few things that are important (in my opinion) for a smooth ride into Roleplay once again. Of course, I wouldn't force it upon anyone to do this, but if you choose to, you're more than welcome to get involved!

  • First things first, we need older elves. We need Foxfire Mentors, we need Councillors, we need everything. Yes, we will have a Council, and yes, Foxfire will be coming back, so I wanna see people making older elves for those kinds of positions. The more, the merrier!
  • Diversify your characters! Experiment with talents! After all, diversity is the spice of life, and we all know that the world of KotLC is most certainly diverse, so don't be afraid to write up different kinds of characters! Just remember: roleplay and fanfiction are not the same, so keep a distance between characters from fanfics and characters for roleplay.
  • There will be a wiki-wide storyline that will be occurring as Roleplay comes back, and everyone (!!!) will be involved, so keep your eyes peeled ;)

Featured Works?!

I'll be honest, it was a welcome sight for me to see that there's a Featured Fanfiction thing going on, but I personally felt that it is not enough. So I am happy to announce that there will be a huge expansion on the Featured section... and it will include everything. Fanfiction, Cover Art, Fanart, Roleplay Characters, it'll all be covered now. Additionally, maybe, just maybe, I might see if we can start doing Works of the Year, which will see various things that most definitely deserve recognition across the wiki, be featured :D tl;dr: there's a lot of talented users and not enough recognition going around, and that will change.
