I figured I held this off for long enough. Time to find out your answers!

Q & A

Q: Do you plot out everything in the story before writing, or do you have a loose plot that you invent as you go along?

A: I actually do the latter too! I usually have a rough start to a plot and the next thing you know, I'm on my computer typing it all out. I don't usually have an outline with me like others do. However, the deeper I go into my story, the more I have it planned out, and the more organized it becomes. I'm not the type of author that needs every little detail planned out, I like improvising and I find that this way helps me connect more with my characters.

Q: What do you do when you can't think of how to start a chapter? Like when you know what you want to happen in that chapter but don't know where to begin.

A: This may be weird to some, but when that kind of stuff happens, I just go in front of my mirror and start acting out the chapter I have in mind. I sort of become my characters and try to act the way they would if put in a situation. That's usually what I do when I'm having trouble starting a chapter.

Q: How do you deal with controversial thoughts of the characters? I mean, you have your plot, but the different opinions of the characters could reveal some unthought of circumstances. In those cases, how do you move forward?

A: When that happens, it's not that tough for me since I improvise most of my plot as I move forward. What my characters do and their thoughts and opinions are what helps me move the plot forward. I just go with what my characters will do and sort of bend the plot so it works with what my characters are doing. My stories are very plot-driven, but it's my characters that push my plot forward.

Q: How are you such an AMAZING author?

A: In all honesty, Crystal, I don't know. I just put my stories out there and am fortunate enough to have such amazing people like you read the, <3
