Logan Caldwell - Head Journalist of the Times - "Words are weapons, use them wisely." Message Me Logan's desk was full of neatly organized piles of paperwork when he hears the door knock. It's 9 AM, exactly when the work day was supposed to start. Using telekinesis, he flipped the door open, and saw Juliette. "Aw, Miss Vale! I see you got my letter! Welcome back! Come on in, it'll be a great first day!"

"In the future, you'll have your own individual office, but for now, since you're still in a period of training, the joining office room next to mine shall be yours. Want to see it?"

Logan Caldwell - Head Journalist of the Times - "Words are weapons, use them wisely." Message Me He unlocked the door that led to the joining room. It was a small office, compared to his, but was at least three hundred square feet. One whole wall was made of glass, showing a view of the beautiful sunrise outside. The glass sliding doors led to a small balcony. The office had a bookcase, with a few pictures on the wall of abstract art. The desk was fairly big and dark wood, completely polished. There were some papers on the desk, along with an Elvin computer and the name-holder thing read: 'Journalism Trainees.' "How do you like it? It's mainly where you'll be working for the next three weeks."

"This is a guide on how our department functions, and stuff like that. If you forget anything from our training, this has some great reminders."

He walked over to the computer and opened it up. "It's a pretty basic computer, but it works." Logan showed Juliette how to type up her journalism reports and send them into the Editors.

Some technology industries have started to integrate human technology with Elvin. These computers are much better than the human ones." Logan pointed to one of the symbols on the top right corner. "If you click that, it'll take you to a blank interface. When something happens that the Times wants a Journalist to write about, you'll get a popup notification. Make sense?"

There's no time like the present to learn how to operate in the journalism department than out in the field! It looks like the Times wants a journalist to do a segment on the recent robbery of a jewelry store. What do you say, Juliette--want to go interview the people on the scene?"

"I'll be there to guide you a bit, but you'll be doing the real interview. Alright, let's go!" He raised his pathfinder and they appeared in front of the robbed jewelry store.

He gave her a few prompts as they went along, such as whispering a few questions she could consider asking, but other than that she was doing great on her own.

Everything that happens is a deal across the table, you have to be able to present yourself the right way," he said. "And Evie...she's the boss...of this whole place. I'm not firing you, and I definitely do not intend to, but I would try to improve your relationship with her."
