They had gotten so many new hires it was crazy, and Logan was preparing for his next interview. It was five minutes before the interviewee was supposed to come. He flipped through their files and prepared his notes.

Paris Marey: She nervously waited for her interview to begin. 5 minutes, then four, then three. She counted down the seconds, and when it came down to two, she felt ill. She was going to do fine. At least she hoped she would.

He contently waited, looking toward the door for the interviewee to knock. He did take into account punctuality, and there was one minute until it was supposed to begin.

Paris Marey: She wasn't sure if she should knock. But soon it was only 40 seconds till the interview and she was not going to let anyone think she was late. So she tapped on the door.

He smiled, and with a small flick of his hand, the door swung open. "Miss Marey, I presume? Come on in, have a seat."

Paris Marey: She thanked him and took a seat, ready for the interview.

"So, to start off, tell me a little about yourself," he said.

Paris Marey: "Well, my parents filed a bad match when I was young and my twin brother became a famous salesman so I was avoided most of my life. I found refuge in my writing and started collecting the stories of other people's life experiences a few years ago."

He nodded and wrote down a few things. "So, what made you apply for this position?"

Paris Marey: "I want to be able to be able to share people's stories with the world, to be able to tell the truth about whats happening in the world"

He wrote down some notes. "Well, that's exactly what we do here in my department. What experience do you have with journalism, or writing in general?"

Paris Marey: "In a period of time in my life that I like to call 'The Great Loneliness', I wrote letters to my only friend who hadn't abandoned me because of my parents bad match. Soon, even she left me and I ran from my home. For a few nights a single mom let me stay in her attic and she told me about her her husband and first son left her. I wrote a small story about the things she told me."

He wrote down some notes. "I suppose that could probably be good at building determination. Do you think your age puts you at a disadvantage?"

Paris shook her head "No. I may be young, but I can assure you that I can do just as well as other jurnalists. I also feel that- especially when interviewing kids- I can get them to trust me with the truth much easier than an older elf can"

"I am usually able to work from the early mornings to late nights, and for payment I don't expect to work for free, but to me the payment is just an extra bonus on top of the job"

He noted that on his papers. He did like it when people had rather open expectations about pay. "How long do you expect to work here, if you get the job?"

"Have you ever considered working in another department of the Times? For example, would you be content as an editor, or is journalism the only place for you? Be honest," he said.
