His department had received several job applications in the last few days, and now he was hosting his first interview with one of the applicants. He took out the person's file, prepared a [en and notebook, and quietly waited as time passed.

With a quiet sigh, she reached up and lightly knocked on the door.

He noted on his notebook that she was punctual, and with a flick of his finger, the door opened. He smiled. "Hello there! It's Miss Vale, right?"

As a kid, I would always read the newspaper and keep up with the news for new discoveries or findings." At that, she added a small shrug. "I'm also known for being a peoples' person and have the ability to get along with anyone I wish to. I find that this is a very helpful skill in being a journalist, as an interviewer must get along with their interviewee if they ever want answers to their questions. I guess that what I've just said, added along with my curiosity, gives me the formula of wanting to be a great journalist."

That will serve you well here." He looked up at her. "Despite your age, is there a certain amount of lusters you're looking for in a job?"

"So, say that someone else wants your exact position. They're older, and know how our department operates--they've been in the business longer. Why would you be a better option than them?"

"It doesn't matter how much experience you have or how much smarter you are, what it comes down to is how much love you have for the job. And I assure you, I have a lot, Because at the end of the day, the person who puts no ounce of effort into this job, despite being the most experiences one, does not deserve the job. Rather, it would be the person who dedicates very much to it."

"Here at the Times, we always want to give everyone in the departments a chance to make their mark. Is there anything you would change or implement about the department?"

"One thing that is very important to us here at the department is giving our workers time off, but can I also trust you to come in when you're supposed to? We do pay overtime as well."
