Upper-Class
Noah Dyson had it all.
Fame, looks, rankings, wealth, intelligence, you name it, he's got it.
Well, excluding people he truly cared for.
You see, his parents, being top Emissaries of the Nobility, were never around and the most signs of affection or love Noah had ever gotten from them was probably a "Good job on your exams" or an occasional nod of approval. Other than that, it seemed like they didn't care to ever acknowledge his presence. (Come to think of it, Noah presumes it's probably because they never wished to have a child in the first place. The only reason he was probably born was so that the two could have an heir and look good to others. Huh, that actually makes sense.)
At school, due to his status as an elf and his extravagant lifestyle, as others liked to call it, Noah was used to being considered a snob. Although the poor kid never acted like one, that was still a word (or an insult is probably a better term) forever attached to his name.
Noah always wondered what made others think of him like that.
Well, come on, he's always been kind to others, always shared his lunch with those who had a passion of hatred for their own, and always recommended amazing reads! He did nothing to deserve this treatment! He wished for justice in this matter. Where are the judges when you need them?
As this went on, though, at the age of 14 Noah manifested into a Mesmer, which certainly did not help with his current situation. The world really did hate him, huh? Now everyone was suspicious that he might control them!
Throughout his years in Foxfire, Noah truly didn't have anyone. Everyone either despised him because he was, and I quote, "a rich, arrogant brat who did nothing but laugh at those below him" (which no one was able to prove, by the way) and all his friends only hung out with him because they liked the idea of who he was, not because they wished to befriend the true Noah.
Despite all this, he graduated with flying colours and was finally relieved when he left the torture of the academy, finally free of everything. He went on to become a successful Emissary, but to this day, Noah still struggles with finding with people who truly like Noah for Noah.
