{{StaraWB|text = Stara sat on a boulder, listening to the calm and soothing waterfall. What a perfect spot to practice her singing! And what a perfect spot to avoid annoying and obnoxious elves that are way too bright and all over the place for their own good...totally not implying her best friend, Lyanna. After meditating for several minutes, Stara slowly allowed her consciousness to dissolve into the rhythm of the waterfall. Her voice went several octaves higher than normal as she sang the beautiful melody that was just waiting impatiently to be expressed.}}
===Aya and Fawn===

  +
{{RainWB|text = Rain stepped into the waterfall clearing, hearing a clear and sweet voice rise above the roar. Her mind ticked into action, and she waited for the girl to stop to breath before approaching her. “Hey, beautiful place, isn’t it? Your voice is amazing.” She said brightly.}}{{StaraWB|text = Stara's cold blue eyes eyed the girl in suspicion, and in irritation as well. "It is breathtaking..." she said as she trailed off. Although she wanted nothing to do with this elf, girl, stranger, whatever she was, she looked directly at the girl, her icy eyes piercing her's. Perhaps she was acting this way because she was ticked off this girl interrupted her singing meditation.}}
'''Fawn Clarkson: '''Fawn wandered towards the river, thinking about her dad. Elwin had said that it might be best for her to take a break and clear her head. She had argued with him for a bit, but he eventually won the argument. She sighed and sat down by the river.

  +
{{RainWB|text = Rain sensed a new victim for her free-speech/bringing-to-light-that-a-lot-of-people-feel-the-need-to-hide campaign. “I’m surprised I haven’t heard of you, with a voice like that I’d think you’d be a star,”she said, plopping down on a rock.}}{{StaraWB|text = Stara shrugged. "I was told that singers usually don't make a decent name for themselves in this world. Being a Vociferator, which is an unpopular ability makes me not a super well-known elf." Stara mentally sighed. When will this elf, OR ANY ELF know to stop bugging her?}}

  +
{{RainWB|text = Rain’s eyes lit up. “So you mean others have pushed you down and said you can’t make a name for yourself? You’re scared to try because of them? Do you mind if I write an article about you, like, not even using your name, actually, I don’t know your name, but about how unfair your situation is?” Rain asked excitedly. She hoped she wasn’t sounding too pushy, but come on, this was perfect!}}
{{AyaEdainWB|text = Aya walked calmly to the lake, noticing another girl there with a pained expression on her face. Should she go over and see what's wrong? Or should she just stay here and mind her own buissness?}}

  +
{{StaraWB|text=Stara rolled her eyes. "Don't even think about it." She snapped. "Speaking of pushing, can I just...push you and your annoying personality over this boulder? That would help a ton more than my name plastered over some sort of newspaper." Stara countered, her sharp eyes piercing the girl like a dagger. She came here to be alone, and look at the situation she's in. Should've brought Lyanna along so this girl could hang out with her instead...}}
'''Fawn Clarkson: '''Elwin and the other physicians head predicted that he only had three weeks left. After that, who knew what would happen to her. She'd probably end up in the orphanage.

  +
{{RainWB|text = Rain raised her eyebrows. She’d ran into many people like this, and she had learned that some just didn’t want to hear her ideas. “Go ahead, I like swimming,” she invited. “And did I not just say I ''wouldn’t'' use your name?”}}{{StaraWB|text = Stara used her signature fake smile at this girl. "Oops, oh well. I didn't hear whatever you were talking enough to pick up those keywords." Playing with the beads around her necklace, she closed her eyes and attempted to hum out the words that elf was blabbering.}}

  +
{{RainWB|text = “Maybe if you’d stop tuning everything else out, you’d be happier, but if that’s the way you want it,” Said Rain. She dangled her feet in the water, and took out her notebook, daydreaming. People being told that certain things weren’t good enough was a big problem. If only she hadn’t been expelled from Foxfire… she could’ve written a great article on it for the newspaper, even without this girl.}}
{{AyaEdainWB|text = She finally made up her mind. She approached the girl slowly. "What's wrong?" She asked in that sweet, quiet voice of hers. "You look upset."}}

  +
{{StaraWB|text= Stara stopped her meditation and looked at this girl, just seconds away from exploding. She already had a bad run-in with her parents, and she came here to cool off her mind from the stress her stupid parents gave her because she had low results from the midterms. BUT WHAT DID SHE GET IN THIS PLACE? SOME WEIRDLY OBSESSED GIRL WHO WON'T LEAVE HER ALONE! "I am already content with myself, thank you very much. I haven't seen you in Foxfire before, and you seem a bit younger than me, so you're not in the Elite Levels. Lemme guess, a Foxfire dropout? Huh, seems like the type anyways." Stara dazed at the waterfall for a long time. "Are you really a dropout?"}}
'''Fawn Clarkson: ''' "I've just got a lot on my mind."  Fawn said. "My dad's fighting some sort of human sickness and Elwin and the doctors said he only has a few weeks before he's going to pass." Fawn started messing with the pocket she'd had since she was 9.

  +
{{RainWB|text = Rain shrugged. “I was expelled not because of my grades, but because I started an unauthorized student newspaper with ‘treacherous’ articles. They weren’t. I was merely letting free the voice of many students who had been silenced,” Rain said, getting passionate. “So what if the Council didn’t like what we wrote? I made sure nothing was rude, just opinions with facts behind them. Just because we’re young doesn’t mean we should be ignored. Like you. Told a singer couldn’t make her place in the world, so you’re pushed into singing alone, unable to make a dent in our so-called perfect society. It’s fine as a personal choice. Just not fine if it’s influenced by others,” Rain finished her speech, staring at her toes in the water.}}

  +
{{StaraWB|text= Stara was surprised to see herself pitying this girl. Let alone that she was a bit impressed this bubbly girl held such deep intention in her cause. "To clear this whole thing, I wasn't influenced by other elves in my decision of not wanting to become a singer as my occupation. It's simply my understanding that not many elves who are singers or any type of artists made a significant dent into society. Singing's just my coping mechanism to either annoy people with ear bleeding shrieks or to relieve my stress through melodies that somehow is weaved inside my head." Stara stopped toying with her necklace as she looked at the soft white waves of waterfalls. "That must suck. To get expelled because you were just expressing your beliefs."}}
{{AyaEdainWB|text = She sat down next to the girl. "Do you want to talk about it?" She asked, hoping she'd said the right thing.}}

  +
{{RainWB|text = “I can’t say I agree with your reasoning on why you don’t share your singing, but that’s your descision.” Rain was silent a few seconds, then she spoke more quietly. “Yeah. It’s hard. I’ll achieve them someday,” she said with a sudden determination.”}}
'''Fawn Clarkson: '''"I don't really know. It's a long story. And a sad one. " Fawn said.

  +
{{StaraWB|text=Stara thought and thought and thought. Would she end up like this girl if she kept her grades this low? Her parent's disappointed, furious, and judging looks reappeared as she closed her eyes to get rid of their faces. "Stara. I don't care if you put my name on whatever freakish article you're planning out. But uh, yeah. My name's Stara."}}

  +
{{RainWB|text = An enormous grin flowered on Rain’s face. “Wow, thank you. I’ll use it, and I promise you won’t regret it. This is going to be a winner for sure,” she said, scribbling furiously in her notebook.}}
{{AyaEdainWB|text = "Well, you can always talk to me if you need to." She said softly.}}

  +
{{StaraWB|text= Stara shrugged. "I better not regret this. Or else I'll have my brother zap you with his lightning bolts." Stara lightly joked. For some reason, this girl's happy grin cracked a tiny small smile on her face as well.}}
'''Fawn Clarkson: '''Fawn decided it was best of she got it off her mind, so she started telling the story. "It all started when I went to meet my uncle... ''"Come along Fawn!" My mother called. I bounced down the stairs. " ready mom! " I said. My mother have a nervous smile as she held her pathfinder up to the light. We arrived at the biggest house I had ever seen. A man stepped outside and gave me a wicked grin. That's when I knew he was up to something. He invited us in and asked to speak to me alone. Mother told me to go, telling me everything would be all right. I went along and watched his every move. He asked me a few questions and then before I knew it, I was on the ground, unconscious. When I woke up, I had a long scar on my left arm. " ''That's only the beginning. " I told her.

  +
{{RainWB|text = “He won’t have to. The media needs to hear this, and it’ll change everything.” Somehow Rain had confidence in this, even though the media usually ignored everything she wrote. “Mind if I ask you a couple of questions? You don’t have to, but it’ll make the article even better.}}{{StaraWB|text = "Sure. As long as it's not too personal, I'll be fine with them."}}

  +
{{RainWB|text = “Okay. Why do you like to sing, and would you consider becoming a singer if you didn’t think a singer could do anything?” Rain paused. “By the way, my name’s Rain.”}}{{StaraWB|text = Stara shrugged. "I like singing mainly as my hobby; to either annoy people with ear bleeding shrieks or to relieve my stress through melodies. Singing is my coping mechanism for literally everything I'm going through. I'd become a singer if I can't find a single job in Nobility, because I'd rather sing my entire life than to work in Mysterium and other working class places." Stara paused for a minute. "It's also because of my parents."}}
{{AyaEdainWB|text = She gasped. "That- that's horrible!"}}

  +
{{RainWB|text = “If you don’t mind me asking, what about your parents? You don’t have to answer if you don’t want to.” Rain replied.}}{{StaraWB|text = Stara considered not replying, but decided to reply anyways. "My parents are always oppressing me to quit dreaming and work on my Foxfire assignments." Stara's world was now filled with the hurtful words her parents had told her. "They're the reason I began to sing even more; to relieve the stupid stress they gave me, and also to annoy them even more."}}
'''Fawn Clarkson: '''I nodded, staring at the ground. "Mom said I was in a coma for 2 weeks. And that my uncle wasn't letting anyone see me. "

  +
{{RainWB|text = Rain sighed. “I’m not surprised. A lot of parents pressure their children about grades. My philosophy is if you’re getting bad grades in a subject you aren’t pursuing for a job, then it doesn’t matter. Just excelling in what you’re interested in doing in the future is what matters,” Rain said, scratching down a few notes.}}{{StaraWB|text = Stara wanted to disagree so badly. But for some reason, she couldn't. A part of her ''agreed'' with Rain. "I guess you're right." Stara muttered, getting a stone and tossing it at the water.}}{{RainWB|text = Rain nodded. “Yeah. Well, it’s different for everyone.” She replied, skipping a stone in the water.}}{{StaraWB|text = Stara nodded in agreement.}}[[Category:Roleplay Location]]

{{AyaEdainWB|text = "How old were you?" she asked, looking up.}}

{{FawnWB| text = "I was 12. I'm now 16 and a half. He told my mom later that I was the worst child to ever live and to abandon me and my dad and live with him. My mom couldn't live with the shame of turning her brother down, nor could she live with the shame of aabandoning her only child and her husband. So she ran away and her body was found 6 months later. Things got worse after that. " Fawn felt a little better after getting that out, but it had also caused some of her memories to come back.}}

{{AyaEdainWB|text = She sat there quietly, unsure of what to say.}}

{{FawnWB| text = "Two years later, my dad got diagnosed with Leukemia Cancer, a human sickness. Stage 4. Elwin, Livvy and a bunch of other doctors came. For two years, he fought the sickness and the physicians did everything they could. And then last week, one of the knome doctors announced that he only had three months left, till the sickness would overwhelm him and he would pass. " Fawn hugged her knees, knowing the deadline was coming faster and faster.}}

{{AyaEdainWB|text = She rubbed the girl's back softly. "Wow, that's alot to handle."}}

{{FawnWB| text = "Yeah. Elwin told me to go and take a break. We argued for a bit before he won and I came here. I don't know what I'll do after he's gone. "}}

{{AyaEdainWB|text = "You can always go stay with relatives,"she offered}}

{{FawnWB| text = "I wish I could, but all I have is my uncle, and his awful daughter who humiliates me in front of everyone at school. Elwin said he has a friend who might be able to take me in, and if that doesn't work, the orphanage will probably take me in. "}}

{{AyaEdainWB|text = She sighed. "I'm really sorry. Is there anything I could do?"}}

{{FawnWB| text = "I'm not really sure. My name is Fawn, by the way. "}}

{{AyaEdainWB|text = "I'm Aya. And if you need anything, feel free to ask."}}

{{FawnWB| text = Fawn smiled. "Thanks Aya!"}}

{{AyaEdainWB|text = "My grandmother died two years ago," she blurted, feeling the need to tell this to this girl.}}

{{FawnWB| text = "Oh. I'm sorry."}}

{{AyaEdainWB|text = She shrugged, ignoring the tear that had just rolled down her cheek. "It hurt at the time, but now I think I'm pretty okay with the fact that she's gone. I mean, I still miss her everyday, but it's... easier, I guess." She sighed.}}

{{FawnWB| text = "I..think I get what you mean. I miss my mom every day, but now I don't have to break up the fights she had with Dad after she went to visit my uncle."}}

{{AyaEdainWB|text = She shook her head. "It's not like that. I just meant over tome it just got... easier to cope with her death, I guess."}}

{{FawnWB| text = "Oh." Fawn played with the sticks and stones on the ground, thinking about her dad.}}

{{AyaEdainWB|text = "Hey," she said, putting her arm around Fawn's shoulders. "Everything's gonna get better."}}

{{RPPage|Title = Night Falls|Text = Night Falls is home to the largest waterfall in the entire Lost Cities. Over fifty gallons of water falls into the lake below. The mist creates a watery veil that only adds the effect of the shining stars above.}}

{{AyaEdainWB|text = She sighed. "Things might not be going well now. And maybe in a few months from now it won't either. And maybe not in a year. But it will get better. It has too." Her voice broke a bit.}}

{{FawnWB| text = "Okay. Same goes for you."}}

{{AyaEdainWB|text = She shrugged. " I mean, it was a long time ago. Anything I feel for her is... in the past. There's nothing I can do about it, really." She sighed. "You.. you seem so strong. So cheerful. How do you do it?"}}

{{FawnWB| text = Fawn though about it. "I..don't really know. Dad always told me things would get better, like you said. I never saw how they would, but he told me he was positive about it. He always cheered me up when I was upset, made a lot of jokes, always was there for me, and encouraged me to have faith."}}

{{AyaEdainWB|text = "Do you think you could... give me some tips?" She asked tentitavely.}}

{{FawnWB| text = "Maybe. What do you want tips on?" Fawn asked.}}

{{AyaEdainWB|text = "How to cope with the situation, I guess. You seem so good at it."}}

About Approval Hail Me

Stara Lynn Lee ✾ Cold Princess ❅ Beautiful Vociferator
"It's hard trying not to judge others when they're doing ridiculous things."

Stara sat on a boulder, listening to the calm and soothing waterfall. What a perfect spot to practice her singing! And what a perfect spot to avoid annoying and obnoxious elves that are way too bright and all over the place for their own good...totally not implying her best friend, Lyanna. After meditating for several minutes, Stara slowly allowed her consciousness to dissolve into the rhythm of the waterfall. Her voice went several octaves higher than normal as she sang the beautiful melody that was just waiting impatiently to be expressed.

Rain stepped into the waterfall clearing, hearing a clear and sweet voice rise above the roar. Her mind ticked into action, and she waited for the girl to stop to breath before approaching her. “Hey, beautiful place, isn’t it? Your voice is amazing.” She said brightly.

Stara's cold blue eyes eyed the girl in suspicion, and in irritation as well. "It is breathtaking..." she said as she trailed off. Although she wanted nothing to do with this elf, girl, stranger, whatever she was, she looked directly at the girl, her icy eyes piercing her's. Perhaps she was acting this way because she was ticked off this girl interrupted her singing meditation.

Rain sensed a new victim for her free-speech/bringing-to-light-that-a-lot-of-people-feel-the-need-to-hide campaign. “I’m surprised I haven’t heard of you, with a voice like that I’d think you’d be a star,”she said, plopping down on a rock.

Stara shrugged. "I was told that singers usually don't make a decent name for themselves in this world. Being a Vociferator, which is an unpopular ability makes me not a super well-known elf." Stara mentally sighed. When will this elf, OR ANY ELF know to stop bugging her?

Rain’s eyes lit up. “So you mean others have pushed you down and said you can’t make a name for yourself? You’re scared to try because of them? Do you mind if I write an article about you, like, not even using your name, actually, I don’t know your name, but about how unfair your situation is?” Rain asked excitedly. She hoped she wasn’t sounding too pushy, but come on, this was perfect!

Stara rolled her eyes. "Don't even think about it." She snapped. "Speaking of pushing, can I just...push you and your annoying personality over this boulder? That would help a ton more than my name plastered over some sort of newspaper." Stara countered, her sharp eyes piercing the girl like a dagger. She came here to be alone, and look at the situation she's in. Should've brought Lyanna along so this girl could hang out with her instead...

Rain raised her eyebrows. She’d ran into many people like this, and she had learned that some just didn’t want to hear her ideas. “Go ahead, I like swimming,” she invited. “And did I not just say I wouldn’t use your name?”

Stara used her signature fake smile at this girl. "Oops, oh well. I didn't hear whatever you were talking enough to pick up those keywords." Playing with the beads around her necklace, she closed her eyes and attempted to hum out the words that elf was blabbering.

“Maybe if you’d stop tuning everything else out, you’d be happier, but if that’s the way you want it,” Said Rain. She dangled her feet in the water, and took out her notebook, daydreaming. People being told that certain things weren’t good enough was a big problem. If only she hadn’t been expelled from Foxfire… she could’ve written a great article on it for the newspaper, even without this girl.

Stara stopped her meditation and looked at this girl, just seconds away from exploding. She already had a bad run-in with her parents, and she came here to cool off her mind from the stress her stupid parents gave her because she had low results from the midterms. BUT WHAT DID SHE GET IN THIS PLACE? SOME WEIRDLY OBSESSED GIRL WHO WON'T LEAVE HER ALONE! "I am already content with myself, thank you very much. I haven't seen you in Foxfire before, and you seem a bit younger than me, so you're not in the Elite Levels. Lemme guess, a Foxfire dropout? Huh, seems like the type anyways." Stara dazed at the waterfall for a long time. "Are you really a dropout?"

Rain shrugged. “I was expelled not because of my grades, but because I started an unauthorized student newspaper with ‘treacherous’ articles. They weren’t. I was merely letting free the voice of many students who had been silenced,” Rain said, getting passionate. “So what if the Council didn’t like what we wrote? I made sure nothing was rude, just opinions with facts behind them. Just because we’re young doesn’t mean we should be ignored. Like you. Told a singer couldn’t make her place in the world, so you’re pushed into singing alone, unable to make a dent in our so-called perfect society. It’s fine as a personal choice. Just not fine if it’s influenced by others,” Rain finished her speech, staring at her toes in the water.

Stara was surprised to see herself pitying this girl. Let alone that she was a bit impressed this bubbly girl held such deep intention in her cause. "To clear this whole thing, I wasn't influenced by other elves in my decision of not wanting to become a singer as my occupation. It's simply my understanding that not many elves who are singers or any type of artists made a significant dent into society. Singing's just my coping mechanism to either annoy people with ear bleeding shrieks or to relieve my stress through melodies that somehow is weaved inside my head." Stara stopped toying with her necklace as she looked at the soft white waves of waterfalls. "That must suck. To get expelled because you were just expressing your beliefs."

“I can’t say I agree with your reasoning on why you don’t share your singing, but that’s your descision.” Rain was silent a few seconds, then she spoke more quietly. “Yeah. It’s hard. I’ll achieve them someday,” she said with a sudden determination.”

Stara thought and thought and thought. Would she end up like this girl if she kept her grades this low? Her parent's disappointed, furious, and judging looks reappeared as she closed her eyes to get rid of their faces. "Stara. I don't care if you put my name on whatever freakish article you're planning out. But uh, yeah. My name's Stara."

An enormous grin flowered on Rain’s face. “Wow, thank you. I’ll use it, and I promise you won’t regret it. This is going to be a winner for sure,” she said, scribbling furiously in her notebook.

Stara shrugged. "I better not regret this. Or else I'll have my brother zap you with his lightning bolts." Stara lightly joked. For some reason, this girl's happy grin cracked a tiny small smile on her face as well.

“He won’t have to. The media needs to hear this, and it’ll change everything.” Somehow Rain had confidence in this, even though the media usually ignored everything she wrote. “Mind if I ask you a couple of questions? You don’t have to, but it’ll make the article even better.

“Okay. Why do you like to sing, and would you consider becoming a singer if you didn’t think a singer could do anything?” Rain paused. “By the way, my name’s Rain.”

Stara shrugged. "I like singing mainly as my hobby; to either annoy people with ear bleeding shrieks or to relieve my stress through melodies. Singing is my coping mechanism for literally everything I'm going through. I'd become a singer if I can't find a single job in Nobility, because I'd rather sing my entire life than to work in Mysterium and other working class places." Stara paused for a minute. "It's also because of my parents."

Stara considered not replying, but decided to reply anyways. "My parents are always oppressing me to quit dreaming and work on my Foxfire assignments." Stara's world was now filled with the hurtful words her parents had told her. "They're the reason I began to sing even more; to relieve the stupid stress they gave me, and also to annoy them even more."

Rain sighed. “I’m not surprised. A lot of parents pressure their children about grades. My philosophy is if you’re getting bad grades in a subject you aren’t pursuing for a job, then it doesn’t matter. Just excelling in what you’re interested in doing in the future is what matters,” Rain said, scratching down a few notes.

Stara wanted to disagree so badly. But for some reason, she couldn't. A part of her agreed with Rain. "I guess you're right." Stara muttered, getting a stone and tossing it at the water.
