Nagisa's mother's name is Ai Ito. She is a psionipath. Nagisa's father's name is Hirohito Ito. He is a talentless.
The waywards at Exillium think well of Nagisa, since she teaches them values that they will treasure for the rest of their life.
The other coaches approve of her teaching style, and have similar ones themselves. However, there is still hemisphere rivalry.
Nagisa was introverted before coming to Exillium. However, after joining the school, she blossomed into a more interesting personality, and became an ambivert. She was more eager to talk to people, and encourages standing up for one's rights. While coaching, she tries to instill this as much as possible into her Waywards, so that they can have a better life than they had before Exillium: just like her.
Nagisa was born a male, but realized that she was female so then officially changed her gender to female. She was born into a lower class family, her parents being Hirohito Ito and Ai Ito. The surname comes from her mother's side of the family, since she had a better background. Growing up, Nagisa had a hard time because she was transgender. Many were still not ok with the idea of LGBTQ+ elves, and bullied her for it. At one point, she was ready to run away from home, until her parents caught her and stopped her.
A few months later, she manifested as a psionipath. From then on, she started going everywhere in a little sphere she created for herself. People stared at her on the street, but inside her bubble, she was immune. Her parents tried to make her come out, but she didn't listen. Foxfire was unable to take her because she wouldn't be able to interact with other teachers nor students: a key part of the school experience. She was sent to Exillium, for no one else would teach her.
In Exillium, she was placed in the ambi hemisphere, the one she thought was for the misfits. It turned out that here, she didn't need to hide herself anymore, because almost everyone else here was different from the rest of the crowd back home. She started feeling better in this place. And eventually decided to come back to coach the hemisphere.
Nagisa is very good at most skills, lacking slightly in brain pushes. She wants to be better at understanding others' points of view, so she tries to discuss more.
