The elements quintessence and shadowflux are very different from each other, and rightfully so. Where one brings light, the other brings darkness. However, it is important to note that both are essential to our world; their balance is what helps us see. Quintessence helps us see things and shadowflux helps us hide things. Quintessence also helps us go places, whereas shadowflux can prevent us from going places by hurting us. However, it is also important to understand that shadowflux is a highly misunderstood element, and more research needs to be done on it before assumptions can be made about it.

Quintessence and shadowflux are complete opposites. Shadowflux brings a lot of darkness to our world, while quintessence does almost the exact opposite. Quintessence can cool down things, while shadowflux manipulates emotions into echoes.
