Brynn confidently walked into the interview room, excited to commence with their interview. They saw Councillor Irene Stardust and bowed deeply. “Good day, Councillor Irene.”
Brynn smiled as they sat down in the comfortable chair. Slightly nervously, but anticipating what was coming next. Thoughts raced through their brain, such as What will the questions be like? and What's going to happen? but then cleared their brain for of the upcoming and important interview.
Brynn straightened, surprised that the interview had started so abruptly. They cleared their throat and said, "I will be able to help the students in many ways, by teaching them, evidently by my being here today, and also I will make sure that they are self-confident. In multiple ways, including being a welcoming teacher, preventing bullying at all costs, and helping students in all means possible. I don't have a very complicated life outside of Foxfire, so I plan on channeling most of my energy into teaching!"
"I want to change a few things. First, I'd like to change some of the curricula. These children are highly capable students, and I feel that we as a school have been holding them back too far. As a student, I often felt that we were heald too far back, and I personally prefer project-based learning and more freedom in class. For instance, if they feel that they could learn something that we're teaching to the elder students, they should have the right to try it out, at least. Secondly, I believe that we must teach students of how differences don't matter and prejudice is completely and utterly unneeded. I feel that that would strengthen the community and enforce self-confidence in the students, and that will most likely cause them to learn more efficiently."
