Transmutations are very useful in alchemy. In fact, they are one of the first things to have been conducted in the field, and are the very essence of the subject. Believe it or not, even humans have begun to decipher the basics of transmutations. This subject consists of turning everyday objects into useful methods with the use of powerful chemicals made of the basic elements. The process of transmutation is very useful in producing elixirs and medicines.

Transmutation is taking one object and turning it into the next. If done properly, one can turn water into liquid gold. Other transmutations like lead to copper, diamonds to silver, and steel to glass can be made. These transmutations are the essence of alchemy.

Alchemy is based around transmutations. Transmutations cause changes is materials which essentially is alchemy. Humans also use transmutations in what they call chemistry. When you think about it, alchemy and chemistry are extremely similar because they both produce a new product through reactions and transmutations.

Transmutations is the action of changing or changing somethings state of being into another form in using alchemy. An example of transmutations is changing living matter into gold, which is a skill that most find hard to preform. Another example is turning glass into iron, and you need a serum for the first step. The chemical formula is simple and they are only two ingredients needed. The final step of this formula is WHAP (wash hands and presents), which can be mistaken as whip to beginner alchemists who don’t know much about the subject. Transmutations are also one of the main subjects in alchemy.
