Mayura wasn't too thrilled about being here. He had hoped that his "polyglotism" would not be found as fake, but here he was, like every other person who had tried to fake an ability. He had tried, he really had. Why did it always have to be him? Despite preconceived notions, he was really hoping that Mayuri would come along with him, but their parents would not allow it. He really hoped that he could survive this one term of Exillium and maybe go back to complete his sixth and final year at Foxfire.

Lexi looked visibly bored, but hey, it is just one more day that she needs to deal with. Could be worse. She still wonders how she ended up with these weirdos but whatever.

Meghan was sort of looking forward to this. Even if Exillium wasn't the place she wanted to be in, it never really seemed like she had much choice. She needed whatever schooling she can get after all. She offers a smile coming in though.

Had it not been for some aggressive reminders, Zofia probably would have forgotten she had class today. That would have been a great way to start things off, but how would she know? Her expression is more dull than the rest, but anyone who knows her would know that it's normal of her.

"Well, at first I only saw this young man," he said, gesturing to Mayura, "and I asked him if there were any more people in the left hemisphere. And then when I saw all of you, I thought, hey there are more lefties with me." He paused for a second before moving on. "And now, enough with the chit chat." Motioning towards the ambi hemisphere, he said: "They've already started. So let's get to work. Everyone, line up on the edge of the lake."

"Seriously?" was the only thing she could get out of her mouth at that moment. It's not that she was opposed to it, but in this particular scenario? She'd rather not.

"Go in," he said, motioning towards the lake. He was clever enough to stand farther away from the waters so that she couldn't push him in if she tried. "You're at Exillium, there's no time for this: we have things to do and places to be."

She rolls her eyes. Clearly there wasn't any other option, and using her talent would get her in trouble faster than she can say the word serious again. She decides to take a moment to brace herself before taking a long jump into the lake. Rising above the water line as soon as she can, she takes a very deep breath in before submerging again. The challenge begins.

It has been an honest two and a half minutes, and well... as much as it was a challenge, Lexi had to get her head out to reset. She surfaces again, and says, "Well, that was fun."

"You have to get in there one way or another, since that's how Exillium works. If you do not go in, I'll get in trouble. So if you choose to stay out here, I'll have no choice but to push you in."

"I'm not afraid of the 'hurt' part. There is something else I am more concerned about, but since the idea is 'be tough or be gone', I'll leave the rest of it out of the picture." With that said, she willingly takes this deep breath and dives without second thought... regardless of the fact that she knew exactly what she was walking into.
