Lena noticed a young girl in front of her. She made a mental note to watch her, as she seemed to be alone. After getting a vanilla ice cream, she approached the girl. "Hey," She said. "Are you lost? Where are your parents?"

June's eyes widened "Right there" she lied, pointing to a random couple nearby.

"I guess I'll see you around June. But if you ever need me don't hesitate to hail me. My name is Lena Clark, remember that okay?" And then Lena light-leaped home, feeling happy from spending time with June.
As far as ice cream was concerned, Mayuri wasn't really a fan of the human food item; especially since it was invented by humans. All it really had was air, cream, and whatever flavor needed, which was probably artificial. But oh well, if her brothers wanted it, she had to go and get it. With her ability, she was no longer shamed publicly, so it only made sense that she should go. And plus, her parents - Ushindi and Jaya - were extremely busy, trying to juggle Mayuri's possible entrance into Foxfire, Mayura's ability detecting tutoring sessions (they had hope since Mayuri manifested), and Yash's tantrums regarding nexuses. So... she was the only one left.

Zane walked up to the ice cream store. Ice cream wasn't his favorite, but it worked. He kept his hoodie on and his head down as he waited in line. Every once and a while, he would glance around.
As she glanced around, it seemed as if she wasn't the only one with headgear (though she only wore it to hide her face and earn herself less shame and scorn). There was this dude who was in a hoodie, and he kind of stood out from the others. He seemed... almost... hot. Nonononono, she could not be thinking this. She breathed out, and said to herself: "Focus on the ice cream. Now was it double chocolate chip or banana split that Yash had said?"

Zane noticed a girl looking at him. He pulled his hoodie further down. He glanced her way several times to see if she was still watching him. She looked sorta cute, but that didn't matter cause no one liked him. He walked up to the lady at the counter. "Can I have a mint chocolate chip ice cream cone?" He asked, hoping no one recognized his voice.
As she wandered around, trying to remember the right flavor, she didn't really see where she was going. It was only a matter a time before... BONK! She had rammed straight into that very same dude she had been looking at earlier. She immediately fell backwards, being the one with less inertia. "Uh-oh," she thought. She hoped that he hadn't been holding an ice cream cone just then.

Zane was about to grab his ice cream cone when someone rammed into him. "Watch it!" But because he was trying to keep his cover, he apologized and helped her up.
She looked up at the dude. She muttered something [bad] under her breath. Why did this guy have to be so hot? Couldn't he just - keep the heat to himself or something?

He gave her a confused look. He grabbed his ice cream cone. "You're staring." He noted.
"Good god," she whispered to herself, before ordering a double chocolate chip and a banana split. "I hope I don't see that dude again anytime soon."

Zane pulled his hoodie up a bit more, glancing around nervously. If anyone recognized him, things would not end up well. Zane slowly ate his ice cream cone, while glancing around.
Mayuri would have simply moved on, but there was something unnerving about the dude's face. Something... oddly familiar. Not that she knew him, but there was some resemblance to someone that she did know...

Zane finished his ice cream cone and went to go wash up when someone had the nerve to trip him. Zane fell, and his hoodie came off. Everyone gasped when they saw him and started whispering amongst themselves. "Him? What's he doing here?" " beats me! I thought he was banished! " " what is Zane doing here? " everyone started asking each other. Zane stumbled up, pulled his hoodie up, and dashed towards the woods, hoping the girl wouldn't follow.
Oh of course she'd follow the hottie. After all, he must have been pretty famous to have caught the attention of so many others. And Mayuri was not the type of girl to shy away from mysteries.
"Hey, wait up!" she called out to him.

Much to Zane's displeasure, he had to stop to catch his breath. He stopped by the river in the woods outside the mall, gasping for breath. He heard the girl calling his name, but he couldn't keep running till he had caught his breath. "What do you want?" He asked, suspiciously . "Here to turn me in?"
