Adelaide's parents were always in the Nobility, both having abilities. She used to be rather famous in Foxfire, making her high and mighty. However, when she manifested as a shade, she started to be looked down upon, for her ability was highly controversial. Several others were also very surprised, for Adelaide didn't seem to be the so-called "shade-type." Others have their own theories as to how Adelaide of all people manifested that ability. Nevertheless, Adelaide, somehow still manages to live a normal life; somewhat.
Adelaide also loves to look good, and looks to her idol, Biana Vacker, for inspiration. Her parents frown upon this very much, as they believe that she should focus more on her schoolwork (totally not a Desi reference). However, she only does this to convince others that she was still the same person as before her manifestation. Generally, nobody is convinced, but she keeps on trying.

Adelaide was very high and mighty in the beginning. She had a whole flock of girls and boys following her around. Now, not so much, due to her ability. Thus, she has started to tone down a bit, and become a little more down-to-earth. However, deep inside her, she doesn't really consider herself better than the others; that was just the mask that she put on.
On the inside, Adelaide was a rather insecure girl, and really wanted someone to really notice her; and that was her crush (her crush is TBD).

Adelaide is a shade. She is particularly good at this, sometimes making it rather uncanny. She is somewhat able to control shadowflux, and is working on manipulating it to the best of her abilities. Though she often seems to scorn upon her ability, she still, secretly, wants to be good at it, for that is her heart's desire.
Adelaide is not good at the Elvin history at all. There have been several times in that class when she has created clouds of shadows around her and slept for her own peace of mind. This, of course, has come with detention several times.
